Private Prescribing
did you know we have a fully quallified prescribing pharmacist?
this means that if you can't buy a medication 'over the counter' and you cannot get to see a doctor, our prescribing pharmacist may be able to prescribe it for you privately.
we offer private consultaions for the following;
- urinary tract infections (water/urine infection)
- ear infections
- throat infections (tonsilitis etc)
- sinus problems
- hay fever medicines
- travel medicines (malaria prophylaxis, medication to delay your period etc)
- erectile dysfunction
- emergency hormonal contraception
a minimum charge of £15 applies which may cover the cost of any medication prescribed.
so if you cannot see your doctor when you need to, book an appointment and we may be able to help you. appointments are available early (from 7am) or late on a tuesday evening (up untill 9pm).
